On ascending carriers of powder like non-glutinous products, is necessary to mount carriers or sections on the surface. These carriers prevent the natural backslide of the transported material and ensure in doing so the maintenance of the required capacity in relation to the belt's width and speed.

Polymax® carriers are delivered standard in oil and grease resistant quality in the following colours: white (W), apple green (AG) and petrol green (G). Particular assembling and alternative colours are available on special request.

Special carriers
Besides, Ellegaard offers textile reinforced PVC carriers in the same height as usual Polycleat® carriers.

Polycleat® TW and CW carriers are offered with smooth surface, NP surface and with textile surface in the same colours as Polymax® conveyor belts.

Polycleat® textile reinforced carriers are delivered for special purposes where traditional extruder carriers cannot fulfil the required stiffness.

A prerequisite for mounting TW and CW carriers is that the foundation belt shall have minimum 0,7 mm coating. The mounting can only be done with high frequency.
